SUMIWET LF

(Low Foaming Wetting Agent & Detergent)

SUMIWET-LF is a specialty wetting agent over a wide range of pH and temperature. It provides good absorbing properties. It has very low foaming and has good stability to alkalies and acids. It provides a good wetting and penetrating effect on wet processing in Textile, Paper and Leather Industries.

PROPERTIES:

Appearance - Colourless to pale yellow clear liquid.

Chemical nature - Non-ionic.

pH of 1% solution - 7 + or 0.5.

Specific Gravity - 1.02

Foaming Properties - Very low.

Stability - Good stability to hard water, acids, alkalies and salts.

Compatibility - Compatible with cationic, anionic and nonionic products.

Storage Stability - Good.

APPLICATION: As SUMIWET-LF has strong wetting, scouring and dispersing action. It is used widely in cotton garment and denim garment washing. Being low- foaming in nature it helps in effluent treatment plant.

• De-sizing 0.5 gm/l to 1 gm/l of SUMIWET-LF in the bath helps in rapid and even wetting of grey denim fabrics and garments. It removes streaks in the garments.

• Bleaching-0.5 gm/l to 1 gm/l of SUMIWET-LF helps in even bleaching of the fabrics. SUMIWET-LF helps in thorough penetration of the bleaching liquor in the goods.

• It can be used as good soaping agent.
