Multipurpose Wetting Agent We offer MULTI PURPOSE WETTING AGENT. SUMIWET - TR(MULTI PURPOSE ANIONIC WETTING AGENT)Technical Data: Composition : Sulphonate of fatty chain compounds Appearance : Reddish brown viscous liquid. Ionic Nature : An-ionic. Stability : Stable to hard water, mild acidic and alkaline conditions.
SUMIWET TR possesses wetting and penetrating power in aqueous solutions.
Applications : SUMIWET can be used in dyeing of cotton with direct sulphur, vat and azoic colours. With the use of SUMIWET wetting out of cotton, which mey be either in the form of loose material, yarn or piece goods, is considerably accelerated and penetration facilitated. In addition SUMIWET can promote the levelling of dyes. In general 1-3% of SUMIWET on the weight of the goods recommended in dye bath.
On account of its excellent wetting and dispersing properties, SUMIWET - TR is especially suitable as a medium for pasting up to insoluble dye powders such as of naphthols and vat dyestuffs. An after - treatment with 1-2% of SUMIWET - TR when given to sulphur colour dyed material reduces bronziness.
SUMIWET may be used in the dyeing of other fibers such as wool, silk, etc. In the case of silk dyeing, the addition of SUMIWET enhances the softness and suppleness of the material.
SUMIWET - TR can also be used in the finishing and sizing mixtures in order to give improved softness and penetration. SUMIWET - TR possesses powerful emulsifying properties and emulsifies oil and fats.
